Remington African Safari Custom,?????

I had in my hand 2 Remington African Safari, 300 Ultra Mags, brand new in box, direct from the Remington Custom shop. Both have the rosewood tip and cap on the stock, which I have never seen on any Remington firearm. They both are complete in hardcase, both come glass bedded from the factory, and both with letter of Authenticity stating that they are 2 of only 150 made. He claims that they actually only made 69 of these guns! Does anybody know if this is so?
He claims these were made some time ago he's had them for awhile!
