Bi-Pod?

Looking for one to fit Remington 700. I do not need one with extendible legs. What is a good one?

    I have a couple Harris Bipods.... They do have extendable legs but they are the best bipods on the market in my opinion....They are a little spendy but worth it!

    For hunting I liked the B-Square roto-tilt bipod that pans and tilts over the Harris because the Harris just tilted. The B-Square was sloppy at first but when it fell apart on me I found some tension screws under the rubber pad (base) and tightened them to my liking. Worked great after that.

    Travis I'm going to use it just for bench rest shooting not hunting.

    There are only two brands of bipods that I would ever concieve of using. Harris or Versa-pod. Everthing else I've seen has just been inferior.

    Depending on how serious you are about your shooting, you might do better to buy a rifle rest and a bag (for the butt stock). They're much more stable than any bipod for bench shooting. [;)]

    I agree, you need to try some different bench bags or bench vises for bench shooting.

    I have to say that I really like my Snipe Pod by Kramer Desighns. It is super light, compact, can be removed in 2 seconds, can be used on several guns(with the SSR) and it will tilt, rotate, camber, anything you would need. It also has tension adjustment to your liking. I highly recomend it!!
