Need some recommendations...

I have a custom rifle coming in from Remington's custom shop in about two weeks. As soon as it comes in I want to have it Ackley Improved and cryofroze. Who would you guys recommend for this? We do not have any top notch custom gunsmiths in our area, that I would feel comfortable with, so I guess I'll have to send it out somewhere. Thanks in advance for the input!

  Who does Remington's custom folks recommend for this kind of work? Unless they have something against it, wouldn't it be simpler for them to forward it to these guys and then have the gun sent to your FFL dealer?

  I emailed mballia, as to not waste one of my 10 responses about this. I specifically asked Remington's custom shop about doing the improvements for me, and they said that they could not do them. I think they may be concerned about Ackley Improvements b/c of liability reasons...not only that, but I would put more weight into personal experiences than some generic recommendation from a factory. I figured that there are probably a lot of people here that have had custom work done, and that I could get some good "real life" feedback from them.
  
  So...if I get the responses, are you going to let me have 10 more???[:)]
