257- add'l info
I get so darn many magazines, I can't keep track of what I read in which one!
I erroneously pointed you to the American Rifleman for info on the recoil-reducing buttstock; it was the October issue of Soldier of Fortune that has the article.
Long story short; a guy named John Kimball invented a stock in the 60's for the M14 to make it more controllable under rapid/auto fire that flexed in the rear the same amount as the barrel would rise.
Anywho, it appears that he now makes something called the AF-1 that does the same thing, has licensed Inland Enterprises to manufacture it, and it fits nearly all ar-type guns. Maybe they could expand their line to incorporate whatever gun you have.
Contact is: inlandusa.com or Inland Enterprises, Inc.
Dept. SOF 9565 Bull Lake Rd. Troy, MT 59935 or 406-295-5162
Apparently, it worked well at the demo at Knob Creek this year, as the writer states that he fired a 20-rounder at a silhouette target at 25 yds, and kept all hits on the target (full-auto G3).
Good Luck!
