DIFFERENCE IS JUST THE FINISH. GOOD VALUE

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

the wingmaster is chrome lined and is a bit smoother. You will love the wingmaster, I had to sell mine because it was too pretty. I cried every time I got it dirty. I got an express synthetic model now. It doesnt hurt when I scratch it now.

I agree with Jehood. I have an older Wingmaster and an Express. The Wingmaster just seems a lot more "silky" smooth. The express will get better the more you shoot it

Besides a rougher finish both inside and out, Remington shaved costs on their Express models by using many plastic or MIM (metal injection molded) parts. This includes the extractor. They also use mystery hardwood stocks with a polyurethane finish and pressed checkering. They're also equipped with a different style magazine retention system

They may not be as pretty, but the absolute toughest and most reliable modern 870 is their police magnum model. These guns come off a seperate assembly line than their Express or Wingmaster guns and are subjected to a higher number of QC checks. They also have metal trigger plates, heavier duty springs throughout, no MIM parts, a higher polished bore and can be had with either an oil finished walnut or synthetic stock.

Express guns are budget models, Wingmasters are well finished hunting models and the police models are their heavy duty working guns.
