Need Help Finding out Maker

Need help I have a old top break pistol that needs parts but I can't find that maker, On top of the Barrel their is printed 38 S&W CARTG. and on the right side of the Barrel there is a small star and the letter Y close to the cylinder. on the cylinder there is a circle with the letters (L E G)and a small star under the E, on the grip frame the is the letters JD and over a little the is HS,and on the other side thee is the letter D. That is all the makerings on this gun thanks for any help that someone might be.. Gryan
P.S. The trigger guard is held on with Screws and not Pins..

  The "L E G" Proof Mark appears to be Belgian, it denotes that the barrel has been proofed with a overcharge. Many small manufacturers there produced unmarked copies of S & W top break revolvers.
  Zhuk in his book shows many similar unmarked revolvers similar to the one you describe.
  One of the common characteristics as you mentioned was that the trigger guards were screwed to the frame.
