Heck yeah they're good, I've had a Spyderco Stainless Delica serrated knife for 15 years and it's been through the ringer. I've cut many a box with it. You'll find out that most knives and edged weapons from Japan are top notch. I've also picked up 3 or 4 other Spyderco knives in the past few years. You probably have an older model which could be worth something to a knife collector.[8D]

Spyderco knives are some of the toughest and usable knives made today. I have carried a Clip-it Endura full serrated every day on and off duty for 7 years. It is without a doubt the best knife I have ever owned! It cuts anything I ask (within reason) and comes back for more. I put a film of Rem oil or Break Free on it once every week or so.
I will always have a Spyderco in my pocket.

i have a spyderco knife but i don't like it as much as i like my gerber
i recommend you try a gerber bmf for a nice and tough knife

they sold for almost 200$ when new. now one will bring from 100-150 or some collectors will pay full retail. among spyderco collectors your model is a true classic. its being re-released with a new blade material. 0 -
they were issued as promos to the teams in the 90's. though good knives, there isnt a knife yet that can survive a SEAL's torture!
