Old ammo box date/value?

Any good clues on the approximate age and value of this one? Condition of entire box is about as shown in this pic. I'm guessing pre-1920, whatcha think? [?]

  check out the vintage sporting goods on Ebay, there is some of those boxes listed on there. Some bring more than the others, depends on the condition.

  Your guess of the teens or early 20's is right on. Remington bought out UMC before or arround ww1 from what I can remember. Before the buyout the UMC boxes simply stated Union Metalic Cartridge Co Bridgeport Conn
