Is Tasco world class a good scope?
I see Tasco world class scopes for $45. on the net. Are they any good?
Will they hold zero on a .308 or an AK or SKS? Thanks.

I wouldnt buy another one. I have an older Tasco world class that is a great scope, but bought two since I got the older one and they were garbage.

Agree wirh salzo, older scopes were great but since "Tasco" is no longer "Tasco" but something Chinese, newer stuff is??????????? 0 -
The older ones were made in japan. A japan made tasco holds a premium over the chinese made one. The manuf. are on the bottom,..look before you buy.
why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

Hmmmmmmmmm. I have had only $hit scopes from China. All were bad.
Well then, are there any decent scopes out there for an SKS or .308 in the $100-125. range?0 -
Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 going in $130.00 range on eBay now. I really like Nikon scopes. My Monarch is a match for a comparable Leupold all day! And for less money.

I got a Bushnell Trophy as a Christmas present and put it on a .50 BMG as a test, was afraid to trust it on a hunting rifle. Over 300 rounds fired and it's still on the money. They're only about $100 or so.
Also bought a Simmons Aetec for the same rifle, have heard they hold up well under heavy recoil.
Saw one on a .50,- after 200 rounds still holding up.
It was on sale, about $125 I think.0 -
tasco has gone downhill over the past 10 years. i have a 4x16 world class made in the early 80's that is a fine scope, in fact its on one of my 6mm's still. 0
