Taurus Security System Key Replacement

I have a Taurus Model 85. I bought it used a few months ago but it did not come with the security key. How can I find a replacement? I checked the Taurus website but did not see an easy answer. Can anyone help me?

  Oh man,
  
  That's exactly WHY I threw my key away....
  
  I didn't want to risk it getting locked and losing the key. My model 85 hammer locks up TIGHT!

  Quick simple solution, go to your local dealer, ask to use one of his keys and dont relock the system. or ask him if he will sell you a key.

  Are you saying that the gun is locked, or you just want the damn key in case you WANT to lock it someday? I think those keys are kinda like the keys they used to give you with the original PC computer cases -- you almost never use it, but if you do and then loose it, you are really sorry!
  
  Does anybody know what "drive" that key has? Is it like a slot, allen key, torx, or what?

  I sent them a fax including the description of the gun, the serial number and the part that I required. They sent it to me free of charge. It did take several weeks, however. Below is the contact information for Taurus. Good Luck. Dan
