.22 rifle
I am stuck on what to buy for a .22. I saw the posts in the general forum. I have narrowed it down between the Marlin 60, Ruger 10/22, and Remington Nylon 66. I plan on leaving the rifles original and MAYBE adding a scope later. I would use it for plinking, chipmunks, squirrels, and other small game. Any thoughts???

Use the mounts called 'tip off'(various brands) to mount a 1" scope on your 22 using the built in grooves.

As punche stated, they may be called "tip-off", or rimfire rings, 22 caliber rings, grooved receiver rings, or 3/8" dove tail rings. All manufacturers make them and are available mail order from Brownells, Graf & Son's etc. 0 -
Thanks. I will look for those various rings. Great site! 0
