Need Help with WALTHER!

Picked up a little Model 2 at a gunshow today. It has a broken firing pin. Does anyone know how to remove?

I removed the extractor and there is a passage where the extractor spring butts up against the firing pin and what appears to be a circular impression on the left side of the slide at the same level. Banged, cussed, pulled, and poked to no avail. What's the secret?

Another Walther question: How does one remove the barrel off a Walther Model 4? Is it pressed or screwed?

  I ended up spending Sunday working on it and this is what I found.
  The firing pin is fairly standard. It is retained in the slide by a pin from the left side that rides in a slot cut on the top of the firing pin. The firing pin is held captive. That retaining pin rest in a hole slightly above the extractor hole on the other (right) side.
  To remove, a suitable small diameter punch must be angled up and above the firing pin through the extractor spring hole. Taps will remove the firing pin retaining pin out of the left side.
  While this is a very secure arrangement, it does not lend itself well to repair. I can fully understand why Walther went to the system used in the Model 4.
  As long as I only have to replace this pin once every 90 years, I guess it will be okay.
  After measuring the broken pin, I turned a new one on my Unimat and had the little pistol firing like new.
