RB-17 Gun cleaner

Anyone use this stuff? Opinions on it? I bought some to use for general gun cleaning like powder residue and fouling on all my firearms. I like the smell and the fact that it is biodegradeable. Any thoughts? Thanks.

  I bought some 5 years ago and still use it. It is an excellent product used by many government agencies to clean and maintain their guns. There are other excellent products out there too. Where did you buy RB -17?

  I bought it at Gary's Gun Shop in Sioux Falls, SD. I went in there looking for MPro-7 gun cleaner and they were out. One of the guys told me to check out the RB-17 which he said was similar, but better. So I thought I would give it a go. They had several of the spray bottles there. It actually says "RB-17 QUICK ACTION GUN SPRAY" on the 4oz. bottle.

  "Quick action" is not the hardcore heavy jelly-like cleaner that i use. I have some RB-17 "quick action" and it is OK but is used for quick minimal cleaning jobs when you don't want to disasseble the firearm. It is OK but the semi clear paste or jelly type cleaner made by RB-17 is better in my opinion.
