1. blank firing prop gun
2. single action army colt copy
3. 6 3/4" BBL / 13" OAL / 5" hieght
4. nickel plate finish / brown checkered plastic grips with "MGC" medallions in each panel.
5. 6 shot fluted cylinder / the forward end of each chamber is 3/4 blocked (1/4 open to allow the venting of gases from firing the blanks)
6. the BBL is plugged / it looks like they inserted a rod up the full length of the BBL and then sealed the forward end.
7. LEFT OF FRAME: "Cal 44-40 Long blank" over "MGC MANUFACTORY"
8. BUTT STRAP: "JAPAN"
9. accompanied buy 5 milled solid brass dummy cartridges
10. the loading gate / extractor / cylinder pin / cylinder / etc... all work, function, and come aprt in the normal fashion.
11. half moon front sight / grooved top strap rear sight
12. half cock saftey
can anyone identify this piece??? who made it??? when was it made??? is it of intrest to collectors??? what is its value??? any history, info, remarks, comments, etc...???
