Help with PPKS 380
When firing my 380 PPKS on the second or third shot the decocker will follow through safing the weapon. Not good if the liberal democrat lets all hold hands SOB is coming at you. What I need is schematics for the weapon and any experiance related info to assist me in replacing whichever spring or detent is causing the malfunction.
Thanks in advance

Someone might have changed the firing pin and lost the "little pin" which resides in a drilled tube with a spring. The "little pin", for want of a better word, I guess it is the decocking pin, pushes with pressure into drilled depressions in the decocking cylinder.
I had a BEAR of a time replacing my firing pin after the tip chipped. You have to pull the F pin through, hold it under pressure, slip in the decocking cylinder, somehow press the decocking pin/spring back into it's little chamber to one side of the firing pin assembly, all the while in this LITTLE LITTLE space which gets tighter as the decocking cylinder gets closer to home. A nice b*tch of a job. I used a dental intersticial pick to push the decocker pin down to avoid scratches, and the pressure of the decocker cylinder against the side of it to hold it there. You push, slide, and repeat until eventually it pops into place.
1) If the decocker rotates freely (or somewhat freely, because the decocker pin might me gone, although the pin spring may STILL maintaining SOME contact with the "position" depressions, althouth is isn't long enough to do this unless some stretched it, this is the cause, maybe. A $1 part and a bear to install. I'd do the decocker pin spring too. Took me 6 minutes. OR ANOTHA' WAY ...
2) Mail the slide to CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sounds like a six minute case of stress induced heart attack.
I'll take your advice and send it it.
Thanks,
