GREENER, MARTINI SHOTGUN
ANY BODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE, I USED TO BUY THESE FROM NAVY ARMS AND SARCO IN 12/14 GA. (SPECIAL NECKED SHOT SHELL). JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER BUT IN 16GA. MARKED 'EG SPECIAL BORE', FOR THE ACTION. I THOUGHT SOMEONE MAY HAVE REBARRELED TO 16GA. BUT THE BREECH BLOCK WAS NEVER MENT FOR THE THREE PRONGED FIREING PIN OF THE ORIGINAL POLICE GUN. ALSO IS MARKED 'CHOKE' BUT MIRROR IMAGE (EKOHC) BUT LETTERS ARE REVERSED ALSO.???

SPORTSMANS GUIDE sells them in 14 gauge / special necked for around $299.99. i connot locate the ammo, cases, dies, or any load info anywere. they were used buy INDIAN police / militia and designed to use this odd ammo to keep guerilla forces and insurgents from using them in any capacity.
if anyone can tell me were to get the ammo, cases, dies, etc... please let me know. best regards, mike.

this shotgun is a straight 14 ga but 16 ga will work 0 -

thanks capt. i'll try that 0 -
i do not believe the 3 pronged oddball firing pin will work on normally primed shotgun shells. this was a feature designed into the gun to prevent a rebel / terrorist from doing just what you want to try. i would be hesitant to attempt to force larger diameter shells or looser / smaller shells through the gun. if you are skilled enough, and can figure out the correct dimensions a shell might be manufactured from basic brass. i do not know how to circumvent the firing pin / ignition problem. best regards, mike.

MRMIKE, I'VE WORKED WITH THESE FOR A LOT OF YEARS, IT IS EASY TO REMOVE THE 2 OUTSIDE 'PRONGS' OF THE FIRING PIN. THIS SHOTGUN NEVER HAD THEM THOUGH AND THAT WAS PART OF MY QUESTION. THESE CAN BE REBARRELSD TO ANY RIMMED RIFLE CART. OR ANY SHOTGUN GA. 0 -
i had not thought of that!!!
the action and stock set certainly make a good platform for a project gun. i would like to see some specs or actual pieces of original ammo. they are advertised as "non-guns" because no ammo is made / can be found. i guess you could order a BBL from NUMRICH or another supplier and make a functional piece. best regards, mike.
