1911 full size grips
A while ago I saw a custom gun with unusual grips. The name on the grip was "DEVEL". One grip had a LEXAN "window" cut into it so you could see the rounds in the clip. It appeared the clip was modified, too. Is anyone still doing this type of custom work? How much would this cost?

There were clear grips on GB a while back. They were developed so the engineers could view the workings with high speed cameras while the gun was functioning, as I understand it.

Customized grips can cost upwards of $100. Not sure of the cost of a special mag, but it might be similar in price.
I suspect at some point in the near future, the ammo count will be monitored by a sensor with a digital readout tied into the latest dumb gun technology. I'd much prefer shooters would concentrate on shot placement, but technology has a different agenda.
