Winchester 61 disassembly
How do you remove the forend from a model 61 pump .22? I have a few suspicions about what to do after unscrewing the two forend screws, but I would like some guidance before I end up with a floor full of disassembled parts.
Thanks in advance!

did you take the gun down? i/e: takedown screw in the receiver. (the big screw thingy) the gun should seperate like a m-12. 0 -
If I understand you correctly, you want to remove the "Action Bar Handle"[the wooden forearm].
After loosening the takedown screw and separating the receiver from the trigger group, remove the outer magazine tube by drifting out the pin. Tip out the action bar from the action, and after the two screws are removed, the wood and metal can be separated.I'm going back a few years for this-Bob
