Thats alot of barrel to swing around! Hey, if you miss, you can always knock them down with the end of the barrel. I've been to more trap shoots than I can remember, but I don't ever remember seeing one that long. Is it for a Remington 1100? I mean is there a marking anywhere that says for a Remington? I'd hate to see you buy it and then not like it. It would make a great waterfowl gun, as long as the ducks are way far away from you. How 'bout guys, what do you think? Bobski should be able to help you.

b4 you purchase make sure you shoulder the entire firearm. if the barrel is too long, your sight picture when you look down the barrel will be in the middle. what i mean is, if your looking down the barrel and while you are lining up a shot and you see 1/2 of the barrel instead of the sight, its too long. i ran into this problem with my 1187 premier trap gun. it all has to do with where you rest your cheek. the price does not seem too far out of line. usually, a barrel that long will have a bead midway up the barrel as well.

There is not a lot of 34 in. trap barrels floating around, the price is not out-of-line. ohioghog is right, you may want to put the barrel on your gun and shoulder it, wear your shooting vest or what ever you normally wear when shooting. Myself, I would look into buying a new 30in. barrel with choke tubes. There are a lot of choke tubes on the market for improving your patterns. In fact in the new Cabelas catelog, they have a 32 in barrel extension, screws in like a choke tube! For those who question what I just said, page 418 of the 2003 Master catelog, it's made by Hastings. Same page of that catelog, new Remington 30 in barrel goes for $175. and it comes with one choke tube, plus shipping. hope this helps you in your decision process. Regards Dave

200.00 is a fair price as long as it doesnt have any dings. it would make for a good turkey shoot gun!
