  I have shot a lot of the .45 and it functions as well as any American ball.

  Shot some of the 60 gr. SSS. It is fairly quite, but accuracy require a faster twist (1x9?). [;)]Ruger has a barrel for their 10-22, I think. Hits are 2-3" at 40yards. Works well in my HK 91 .22lr. kits and all of my .22 lr. rifles and pistols. Best, Robert

  I've heard good reports on the Aguila subsonic 22. LR. I don't know much about this brand of ammo other than what I've heard. Both Aguila and Lapua are good but expensive. I've yet to see a shop carry them, but I have seen them online. They are specialty items. If you want a good subsonic in 22. LR then I would highly recommend the Remington subsonic. It is reasonably priced and does the job.

  The SuperSubSonic is what I use 100% in my "Suppressed" 22's.
  Excellent energy when compared to other 22 LR, due to the 60gr bullet.
  I've shot (1 shot kills) coons at 50 plus yards and the other coons look at each other like: why is everybody falling over "dead", when we can't hear anything?????????????????? So they just "wait-their-turn"!!!!!!!!
  As stated, the rate of twist is recommended at 1 in 9.
  Aquila usually has the barrels available in both Stainless and blued for the Ruger 10-22, but were back ordered the last time I checked with them.
  I have one on "Back-Order" and plan to have it threaded to my Suppressor specs and will report on how it "groups" as soon as I
  get it set up.

  I droped a coyote and some crows with um but they wont cycle the action of a 10/22

  The .22 Colibri (20gr.), will not cycle my 10/22 but I've
  yet to have a SSS that would not cycle.
  Maybe the Suppressor is "helping" cycle (increase pressure) and that's helping me.
  I'll try it without Suppressor and see.

  I've shot a lot of Colibri (primer only) out of my S&W 617 revolver in the back yard (my wife hates noise). I plink on a 4" round metal spinner and I find the little shards of lead on the ground under it.

  Great ammo! Available from Sportsmans Guide or Cheaper than Dirt.
  I have shot all 6 kinds of their ammo in my 10-22, MKII, Bearcats, and my Iver TP22 groups around 2" at 50yds with the 40gr SE.
  The Colibri is almost too weak for anything past 25 feet, since it drops almost 2" at that distance out of my single-shot Marlin (ca 1900).
  Check out the gun shows too, usually goes for $1.25 a box for the SE, and around $1.45 for the 60gr stuff.
  I get mine locally from Quartermaster Sales in Albuquerque, if that helps.
  Knotts Sportsmans' Supply in Clayton has all 6 kinds of Aguila, and any other rimfire stuff as well(Lapua, Eley, DeLonghi, PMP, and some Finnish stuff I can't remember how to pronounce)
