Old Mossberg 410 bolt action

I have one more shotgun I am looking for history on. It is a Mossberg 410 bolt action. The only info is what the barrel has stamped on it: Mossberg & Sons, New Haven Conneticut, 83D410 GA 3" proof tested. That's all I have, as before any information anyone can give is good information.

83D is the model, manufactured from 1940 to 1946.
