REM 870 barrel ?

Will a Remington RBL6227 special purpose barrel fit an 870 Wingmaster?

  870 barrels are supposed to be interchangeable as long as they are the same gage, if your wingmaster receiver is for 2 3/4 only shoot only 2 3/4 shells, even if the barrel will shoot both.Good luck...

  20 gauge express 870 barrels will NOT fit on a standard sized Wingmaster 20 gauge. I know, I tried. The collar that goes over the magazine tube is smaller on the express barrel.

  Hello, the Special Field barrels will ONLY fit the Special Field receivers. Other than that, they all work within the same gauge and frame size.

  I was just planning on asking this question anyway. Yesterday I saw a Norinco shotgun that appears to be an exact clone of the Remmington 870. Is it? If so is it exact enough that the barrels would interchange? The price for the gun is less than the price of the barrel for the 870.
