Fulton shotgun

Just came into posession of a Fulton 12 ga. side by side and need a forearm grip for it. Where might I find one? Also is the Fulton a quality gun

Fulton arms is the forerunner of the L.C. Smith.

A slight correction---- Fultons were made by L.C.Smith and marketed as a "utility" grade gun to compete with the cheaper boxlock guns in the marketplace. It was not the forerunner of the Smiths, rather it was made concurrently with the sidelock Smiths. As to quality, it is equal to the other boxlocks made at the time but has little or no collector value. Try Rob Jones--rob@gunville.com for your forend or any used parts dealer.

The Fulton,Fulton Special,and the Hunter Special are boxlocks made by Hunter Arms.Although inexpensive at the time,they are not "cheap quality" guns as many people believe.The parts are all machined steel and,according to The Standard Catalog of Firearms 2003 Edition,are equal in quality to the L C Smith field grade.The Hunter Special uses the same "rotary bolt" locking system as the L C Smith field grade.People are starting to appreciate the actual quality of these boxlocks,and prices for them are on the rise.They were discontinued at the start of WW11
