Our hardcore Colt guys will no doubt be along shortly to tell you the exact day, but I'd estimate your pistol's born on date in early 1981. I have a 6" nickel Python myself and it is a favorite.

Mark's got it right! Can't add anything more to it than that! I'd have to agree that the "Snake Guns" are indeed a pleasure and easily become a "favorite" to their owner. Enjoy!
