Pioneer Model 28
I have a Pioneer Model 28 sold by Gambles Stores Incorporated. It shoots 2 1/2 or 3" 410 shells. No other markings can be found on this peice. The feed pushes in two 2 1/2" shells everytime the bolt is pulled back. 3" shells work fine. How old is this gun and is there anyplace to get parts to repair it? Any answer as to it's value would be appreciated also. It is in mint condition other than the 2 1/2 shell situation. It has a beautiful Monte Carlo type stock made from birch or maple.

call mossberg. some were made by mossberg on contract. they may fit. 0 -

It seems like I remember some H&R guns using that designation.

Down Deep in my database I find THREE MAKERS that used the name PIONEER....
1. PIONEER...Made by Stevens Arms...
Rifle, Semi-Automatic, Model 87,. L.R.R.F.....Not Yours...
2. PIONEER...unknown Maker,circa 1880....Not Yours...
3.PIONEER ARMS CO. Made by CRESCENT for Kruse Hardware Co., Cincinnati, Ohio...Could possibly be yours..... No mention of a bolt Action .410, from any of the above...Maybe someone in the FORUMS can take it from there..?
I also cross referanced Stevens and Iver Johnson, Marlin, Hopkins & Allen, and a few others...still No luck.....
