Wilkinson Terry 9mm Rifle

OK - Who can give me some back ground on this rifle? I know that Wilkinson went out of business. I know that some one bought the remainder of the receivers with the factory and is re selling them. It feeds like an UZI. Why did it not make it? I guess no one knows about this rifle??? There must be sone one [8D]

  The design has been around since the 1960's. The first version was produced by PJK out of Bradbury, CA, called the M68, cost $150 retail and was a piece of junk (in my never humble firearms opinion). In 1975 Wilkinson Arms in Covina, CA purchased the rights and began to produce a much improved version with either plastic or a maple stock. The rifle was updated a few years back and called the Linda. Like all of the Wilkinson firearms, the Terry is named for one of Mr. Wilkinson's daughters. All of the Terry's I have seen were marked in three lines of script at the left rear of the receiver: Wilkinson Arms, Model Terry 9mm Luger, Covina Ca. Since the Terry had a production life of over 25 yars I am not sure what you mean when you ask why the gun did not make it? There are plenty of these floating around out there and although I never cared for them, they were serviceable enough for simple plinking (at 9mm ammo prices).
