colt revolving musket 1855 ?

I am looking for some information on the colt revolving muskets. It just so happens that I have one but can't find much info about them. I called the Colt factory and they said that the records around that time were destroyed in a fire? I would like to know what this gun might be worth? This gun is an origional. I can't find much info about the gun. Any help would be welcome. Let me know and I would be able to send some pictures.

  Norm Flayderman in his book "Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms" recommends consulting as a reference "The Book of Colt Firearms" as it has detailed data regarding the Colt 1855 Revolving Military Rifle, Sporting Rifle etc.

  Colt manufactured quite a variety of side hammer 1855 percussion rifles/carbines.
  
  We'll need to know caliber, barrel length, 5 or 6 shot, fluted or non-fluted cylinder, full or half stock, with or without bayonet lug, all of the writing on the gun, exactly as it is written, and a complete description of it's condition.
  
  Values could range from $1000 to $25,000 (or possibly more).
