Help!!! Walther PP
I have a Walther PP of Manurhin manufacture that has a live round stuck in the chamber. I can't make the slide go to the rear no matter how hard I try. I know it's not safe to disassemble it with the round in there. Shooting it to get the round out probably isn't a good idea either. Is there any thing I can do before I bring it to a gunsmith?

I got it! After some more vigorous trying to get the slide to move rearward, I could feel it starting to give, so I worked it some more and viola! All is good right? Wrong! It ripped the bullet free of the jacket and deposited powder all in the action. After some pushing with a cleaning rod, I got the bullet free from the barrel. Now I have to clean it for sure. Oh well at least I got it out. Anyone else have this problem with any gun, not just the Walther? BTW it was Cor-Bon 60 gr. JHP for those interested.

graves, i have seen several different makes and models jam like this, the best i can suggest is to get a good grip in the slide and using the web between the thumb and the rest of the had slam forward on the back of the frame , always does the trick for me 0
