5mm Craig
Was wondering if anyone out there has had the conversion done to their Remington 5mm magnum rimfire to the 5mm Craig and any feedback on the conversion?[?]

I use Schroeder bolt conversions. You change the front part of the bolt and can go back to rim-fire when and if the ammo becomes available again. It's a high quality bolt as well as his brass and bullets.
His brass is made from Hornet cases and will last several reloadings.
Craig brass is machined from bar stock, doesn't have as much capacity.
His instructions say it's important to anneal the brass between loadings as it's brittle and the necks crack. Some split when you seat the bullet the first time.

Schroeder is by far a better process, and the brass is better too.
Here's the info. Steve Schroeder is a darn amazing guy. Call him and he'll send you any info you want on the conversion. You can find more info about the 5mm Remington Mag at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Remington5mm/
