barrel rifling
i own an ithica 12ga m66 supersingle deerslayer and have a couple questions...can rifling be added to the barrel and estimated cost? and ive read/heard that rifled slugs should be used in a non-rifled barrel and standard slugs be used in a rifled barrel,true?...how would i get the best "bang for my buck"? thanks for the info...

i dont beleive you can rifle a barrel after its made. the walss are too thin to do it by button rifling, hammer forging is out of the question. buying a rifled barrel would be much cheap even if it could be done

IF IT COULD BE DONE IT WOULD COST 4/5 (MAYBE MORE)TIMES WHAT THE GUN IS WORTH, THE M-66 ISN'T MUCH OF A GUN TO START WITH. BEST IS TO SAVE A FEW MORE $$$ AND GET A GOOD GUN. 0
