Brasso on brass?
Any problem using the Brasso product to do some light brass casing polishing and for removing fouling on the caseneck of rifle (.308) cases? I thought I reaad somewhere that the ammonia content could weaken the case. Anyone else heard that? Thanks.

Ammonia is not good for your shooting brass. There are a variety of cleaners you might consider with a wider variety of uses such as Flitz. This might be your best bet for a small amount of rifle brass. If you do a lot of brass, use a tumbler.

try KAPOW, THIS IS A PRODUCT YOU CAN GET AT WAL-MART. WORKS GOOD ON BAD TARNISHED AND STAINED BRASS CASINGS. IT DOES NOT HURT THE BRASS. WASHES OFF WITH WATER. 0
