I thought I saw some in last months Shotgun News, but I just looked and there's none in there. Why does it have to be from Portugal? What type of rifle are you using it for? Most military rifles I've ever had ( lost count a long time ago ), fired well with Nato 7.62 X 51. They shoot terrible with regular .308 rds. because there is a big difference in the design of the two.

I found some at http://www.ammunitionstore.com/ The reason I have been looking for this is that I have read the message boards on Cetme's and this ammo and a couple other one's work real well in the gun.

Bigant, I'm glad that you found some. I use the NATO ammo in my Cetme because it would'nt function with anything else. I think I'll check-out that website and if it's alot cheaper than the NATO ammo, I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

Well I'll be darned! Thats the same ammo I've been using all along. Never realilized it was from Portugal. Bought it because a guy at a gun show said it worked good in his Cetme and the fact that it had the NATO stamp on it. I know it works good in "my Cetme", don't know if it will work in yours if it's made by Century Arms. They usually need some "adjustments". Maybe you'll be one of the "lucky" ones and yours will work good right out of the box. (I don't happen to be one of the "lucky ones"). But, it works great now and it is a real tack driver. Check out your local gunshow for this ammo. Shipping costs are going to be expensive if you get it off of the internet. Good luck!

In my neck of the woods internet prices (with shipping) usually beats gunshow by $20-$40 per 1000rds.

$20-$40 savings overall on price. Not $40 per 1000rds. If I were getting it for that price it'd be the worlds best kept secret! [:p]

I have used the PORTUGAL ammo for years, ( 2 ) Not any problems with it at all.. When in stock I get it at CHEAPERTHANDIRT or SPORTSMANSGUIDE. Works in my M1A, and Rem 700, GOOD AMMO! [:)]
