Nickel plating
Does anyone here do nickel plating(maybe crome) say a revolver cyl? Close to the mid west? Guessament on cost? Thanks / Eddie

I have an quackenbush which I am restoring. It has little plating left. Where can I have this rifle replated as it was originally and what kind of cost would be reasonable? 0 -
Where did you acquire your kit? If you got if from Texas Plater's Supply they usually supply complete A-Z instructions. If you didn't get them they will probably send them to you if asked. You are wise to practice on small parts, and in fact that is the best use for these kits. It is rare to plate an entire average sized handgun with them and get good results. 0 -
I bought the kit from Caswell's electroplating online. They have instructions with the kit also (which I have not yet received yet) but I was curious if anyone had any special recommendations from their experience usign these sorts of kits.
It sounds like trial and error.....hopefully minimum error
Thanks for your reply to my original question. I don't think I'll try an entire handgun but maybe a few select parts.
