Savage 17 hmr trigger

I recently gat a 17 hmr and love the gun but the trigger leaves a lot to be desired. I was wandering if anyone had any good ideas on how to tighten up the "play" in the trigger and/or if there was a replacement trigger? Thanks for any help.

  Just received a fall master catalog from Cabellas, p. 416 shows
  Basix triggers for Savage 93, pull weight 10 oz. to 1.5 lbs priced at 79.99.

  purebredrebel, Rifle Basix trigger will solve the problem! Page 293 of the Midway big catalog, part number, 287-188, $72.95. Other places have them for about $65.00 but I don't have that info handy just now!! GHD
