  Based upon purchase dates, invoices, postmarks and any other information that has been gathered over the years, the "best"
  estimate that any Browning ATD Collector would agree upon would
  be 1959 for your rifle.
  Estimate: serial # 45,000 to 68,000 for 1959, so that puts yours
  right in the middle and thus a 1959 production.
