browning 1885

How can i tell if a Browning is a low wall or high wall...both of the guns i have are 1885...one is a 223 and the other is a 22-250..Thanks again

  what is a browning 1885 creedmoore black powder cartridge 45-90 34" barrel like new,but has been fired have sights and the box it came in worth?[This message has been edited by buffs (edited 03-11-2002).]

  Hey Hardley- The 22-250 was only available in the Highwall. The 223 was available in both.The front of the receiver on Highwalls is longer than Lowalls.On the Highwall, from front of receiver to breech face is about an inch-Bob
