I recently purchased a husqvarna vapenfabriks aktiebolag browning's patent 380 cal. handgun. the serial number is 4195 and the number on the other side by the safety is I 3 no. 295. can anyone tell me what it is worth? it has 2 clips no holster and appears to be in excellent condition. your responses are appreciated. thanks.

  Your pistol was imported and sleeved to .380 by Golden State Arms back in the 50's. If it was the original 9mm Browning Long Cartridge it would be worth $400 to $600. Because the sleeving to .380, and being marked on the frame ".380", yours would only probably bring about half that.

  thanks for that info. I was watching one sell on the auction today and it sold for $340 but it didn't say browning patent and its serial number was a lot higher and it didn't look as nice. so I was just curious if any of that had to do with it.[:)] thanks again
