Buy 11MM Dutch Beaumont Vitalli??
My local gunshop has one in excellent condition including the bore. It's possibly unfired according to the shop owner.
He is asking $300.00 but I could probably get it for $275.00
Do you guys think it's worth $275.00 in the condition I described?
I know 11X52 cases are very expensive running about $2.00 to $3.00 a piece and dies running over $100.00 so by the time you aquire what you need to get the gun up and running you have $500.00 or so invested.
What do you guys think?

Well, I think when you die, you won't be taking that $500 with you. If you can spare to play with $500 in cash or an antique rifle....
You will figure it out. Good luck

Use to collect black powder military rifles. $275 would have been a very good deal on a excellent condition Beaumont Vitali, 20 years ago. It's a no-brainer now a days.
Make sure that big V spring in the bolt is still functional. That always seemed to be the Achilles heel, with them.0 -
For those that may not have had the opportunity to see one of these close up, here is a site with some terrific photos.
