  if your revolver is the model 1904 of model 04 solid frame double action it was manufactured from 1905 until 1941. the model 1904 is .38s&w caliber(5 rounds) and the model 04 is .32s&W long caliber (6 rounds).
  
  if it is the h&r m4 h&k then it is semiautomatic imported from heckler & koch in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
