All I can tell You about the WHITE POWDER WONDER is that it was made by Stevens Arms. It was a Single Shot, Shotgun...Called the Model 90, Came in various Guages, Takedown, Automatic Ejector, Hammer and Plain Jane...In Excellent Condition is Worth $100.00.....Probably Made in the Late 1930's or early 1940's....Sorry....Thats all I have in the database.......

I also have another listing of a "White Powder Wonder" from the 2003 Standard Catalog of Firearms.
White Powder Wonder: Trade name used by Albert Aubrey of Meriden, Connecticut for shotguns made for the Sears, Roebuck and Company of Chicago.
The gun is listed in my Spring 1902 Sears, Roebuck Catalog No. 111 on page 306 as: "THE NEW WHITE POWDER WONDER, $4.10. ONLY $4.10 FOR A GENUINE AMERICAN MADE NITRO POWDER BREECH LOADER. BORED FOR NITRO POWDER. WILSON'S WELDED STEEL (Barrel). TAPER CHOKE BORED. 12-GAUGE ONLY".
The ejector model was a whopping $4.400 -
Did a little further research this morning;.... AUBREY,A.J.-Trade name of Sears, Roebuck & Company on firearms MADE by Meriden Arms Company..
Then researching further, I find in Balderson's Book of gun Marks that there are Three (3) Listings for the White Powder, and are listed here-in...
WHITE POWDER WONDER - Trade Name used by J.Stevens Arms Company on shotguns.
WHITE POWDER WONDER - Trade name used by Sears, Roebuck & Company on Shotguns.
WHITE POWDER NITRO - Trade name used by J.Stevens Arms Company on Shotguns...
The FORUM MEMBER has a Shotgun with a Patent Date of 1913...which makes His Gun newer than the Patent date of 1902 listed by Xracer..
It appears that Sears and Stevens had a Long Running affair with this Trade Name...Further investigation shows The Name Meriden Firearms Company - Meriden, Connecticut, circa 1907-09, Makers of Revolvers and Rifles, Subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck and Company..So armed with this bit of information...The Members shotgun was made after the Sears Spring Catalog of 1902....by at least 11 Years and that Meriden had been bought out or merged with another Company...Also that Meriden Fire Arms Company never made Shotguns in thier Facility..My Book of Antique and Modern Firearms, Eighth Edition by Balderson show these three guns as the only ones made by Meriden.
1. .38 S&W, 5-shot, Top-Break, Hammerles, Double Action Revolver...
2. Model 10, Single Shot .22 L.R.R.F. Rifle......
3. Model 15, Tube Feed, .22 L.R.R.F., Slide Action Rifle ...
So my assessment stands...Yours was made by Stevens Arms...Understand that I'm not putting Xracer down...I just happen to have a bit more information at My disposal..........
