Is this a good deal ?
I had a chance to buy a used Kimber in excellent condition today.
Now, I'm not finding much info or details about this model, other than it has been discontinued. Maybe its older than I thought.
Pro Shadow LE II, 3 mags, Boyt soft case, supposed to get original box and manual next week--$500 --- I hope these werent discontinued because they suck ! Where can I find more info?
Thanks, Kc

"I hope these werent discontinued because they suck!" Not sure I understand that part of your post.
If you got a used Kimber in great shape with the extras you describe I'd say you did OK, probably a little better than you would have done at the average gun shop. Around here, I've seen used, first generation Kimbers going for upwards of $600.0 -
Sorry, kc, re-read your post with a different emphasis on "because." Sorry I can't be more enlightening regarding the particular model. Have you tried Kimber's web site? Also, I have called their customer service people at their custom shop a time or two and they were always very helpful. 0 -
Kimber runs limited production runs on many of their guns. It's not that your gun in particular sucks just that they came up with something else to sell. It's most likely that your particular Kimber wasn't a big seller so they discontinued it. Remember it's about supply and demand. They manufacture guns to make a profit, if a model doesn't sell well they will make something else.
I should add $500 for a used Kimber is a good deal. Where I live your lucky to find used Kimbers & usually they start around $550+.
People that buy Kimbers usually hold on to them unless they need $$ fast.
