Yes, his Collector's Guide to the Colt M1911A1 (the smaller version of his book) has been updated & is currently being printed. It should be ready for sale within 6 weeks; it can be pre-ordered on Amazon. I think that the price is around $35.

    I'm sure glad I didn't pay > $200 for the first edition.

There are also sellers here on Gunbroker taking orders for them.
    I ordered one.

Any word on the big book? Should I sell it while I can still get $600-$700 for it?

Thanks, I looked on Amazon. You can order the new revised second edition right now, says 1-2 day shipping. They say it's a hardcover book. I'm wondering if he will reprint the small paperback one, that is more like a reference manual. I sure would like to get a copy of that. Anyway, I'm off to order one now. Thanks

martz. I think the "collector's guide" IS the small book; it was published both as a SB and an HB?

Maybe Neal or madmarc0 know better and will correct me if I am wrong. As far as I know, Clawson has said repeatedly that there will be no further publications, but I think he was refering to the "big" book.

Anybody hear anything about reprinting or second edition of the "big" book?

Redcedars, He published a small paperback that was around 75 pages. This was more like a pamphlet. I have a friend that has one. They are great for gun shows or auctions. Easy to carry and all the referrence you need (hopefully). The smaller hardback is about 130 pages, I think the paperback is just a more condensed version. More like just the basics and no story.
