I am looking for the year of manufacture of a 12 guage single shot shotgun.
It is marked Hopkins and Allen Arms Co. with the number N3029.

  Hopkins & Allen were in business from 1867 until about 1914. As far as I know, there is no date/serial # list still in extistance.
  
  If there are any company records left, they'd probably be in the archives of the Otis Library in Norwich, CT.
