Value of Sig P229

Does anyone have an idea what it would be worth? Five years old, night sights (still bright), excellent condition, about 500 rounds through it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  Other than the shorter life for the night sights (about halfway) you really have a like new gun. 500 rounds ain't nuthin. Get the price on a new one and knock off about $150.

  Sounds like you have a Sig in excellent condition. I picked up a Sig 229 in .40S&W about two years ago for $400.00. The gun was probably as new as yours. The only difference is he was desperate for the money. I think you should start high and work your way down to an acceptable price. Remember the retail for Sig pistols are up there!![8D]
