youth model .17 caliber

does any company currently make a youth model .17 cal. I would like to get one for my young daughter. I thought about a .22, but since i (we) will be doing some groundhog hunting i wanted something with a little more oomph!

  I think either Rossi or New England Firearms or both are making a youth single shot breakdown in the 17HMR. Other than that I do not know of any boly actions.

  if she can handle the length,the Savage 93
  I looked at (synthetic\stainless)was really

  savage g17 it is small single shot w/ a lever action ideal for a child learning to shoot.
