Rossi 223/20gauge combo set

Anyone out there familiar with this particular rifle/shotgun set? Separate barrels, rifle takes a scope. Am interested in getting one for my grandson (he just turned one yr old) and "breaking it in" for him. I'm familiar with Rossi...have one of their replica 62A's in .22...sweet shooter.

  They are OK, but for the money spent I would get one of the H&R Handi rifles and have it fitted with whatever barrels you want. The fit and finnish and overall quality seem better.

  I was debating what to get my son, for a first gun. He shot a youth model H & R .410 recently & loved it.
  
  A shopping trip to the local Walmart revealed that they will order the Braztech/Rossi .22/.410 youth combo and sell it to me for $115. I expected to hear $140 or more - the one I ordered is due in next week.
  
  2 guns (more or less) for the price of one.........

  you cant go wrong with those combo guns. it has been very popular over the years and it teaches a young boy to conserve his shots. he will do fine with it! enjoy!
