44 flattop

Hi all
I have a rugger 44 mag the flattap.
It have a low serial number under 8000.
is it valuable I would like to know, can anyone help me with this?

  your flattop was made in the 4th or 5th year of production , end of 1962 or early 63, value all depends on condition of the firearm, good condition around $300 or more so if its better or has the box and owners manual with it ,,,, you really can't say without knowing just what it is and seeing it so you can know what the conditions is

  In excellent cond. the flat top .44 Blackhawk should be worth around $500.00 or more.I have a .44 & a .357 that I've had since around 1956.

  Give the folks on the Ruger board a shout,and give em all the info you can..barrel length,number of grooves in barrel,have the box?,etc.
