Value of German Scope

Have a chance to buy a Nickel 4X x32 with 26mm tube in good condition.
I like the tapered post reticule. He's looking for $60. Does it make sense?

  Nickel is good but not as popular as the other big name German scopes (Swarovski, Zeiss, Schmidt & Bender). Alot of the market value is not actual value but popularity. I had a friend who bought a new pair of swarovski binos years ago that were over $600 but were clearenced out for $140 because nobody knew about them back then. If he only wants $60 and you like it jump on it.

  Thanks for the info. I bought it today but only offered $50
  since there was finish wear at both ends. Now I need to find another pair of 26mm Weaver style rings.
