getting shot

if one finds themselves on the wrong end of a gunfight, is it better for the one being shot to have the bullet go clean through his/her body, or not?

I would rather be held by 3 skinny cheerleaders, than carried by 6, judged by 12, or whatever else you guys say.

  There have been numerous reports of roundnose bullets at moderate velocity full penetration wounds which did vey little damage and healed w/o much more than a bandaid. I don't think you should try it just for the experience.

  Tis better for the round to pass completely through hopefully without fragmenting.....depending where it hits you though. If it hit me strait in the center of the chest I'd want it to stop there before it hit my heart or spine. But in an arm or leg or something I'd rather it pass through that way the docs wouldn't have to cut it out.
