pics of my Webley(python,rufe-snow,xracer)

Python, rufe-snow, and Xracer...........here are some pics of our Webley Mark 1 (I hope they showed up) The serial # 33517 should show up in the first one. The second one is the ser. # on the barrel and lower half, which may not be legible (both are 33517) Also, there is a mechinism above and in front of the trigger that I haven't seen on other pictures I've found on the internet. Can you tell me if this is original, or a modification? I think the gun is in pretty good condition. Let me know if you need more info or pics. I sure appreciate all you guys help! As you can tell by my descriptions, my gun terminology is not too good.

The mechinism you refering to is a cam that allows the cylinder to be removed for cleaning and maintence.
It wasn't standard on the original issue Mark 1's. This means your revolver was returned to an armory for rework during it's service with the Britsh Military.
It also doesn't appear that the back end of the cylinder has been milled off to accept .45 half moon clips, that's a plus.0 -
Python, X-racer, did yall happen to see the pics I posted? Don't mean to seem pushy, but my brother is really curious about it.......not to mention myself. Let me know what you think. Much appreciated. Rjeffers 0 -
